Your First Visit to Our Millville Practice
Upon entering Hahn Family Chiropractic, you will be greeted by Dr. Hahn. We will then photocopy your insurance information as you complete your intake paperwork.
At this time you will be taken to the examination room to record your vitals. Dr. Hahn will then give you his undivided attention while you explain you reason for seeking care. This problem will be discussed in detail as a series of questions are asked in regards to the problem. Also, please expect to discuss you family history and past medical history to give the doctor a complete overview and possibilities that could be affecting your current condition.
Afterwards, a comprehensive examination will be conducted beginning with a range of motion assessment on the affected area(s) followed by chiropractic, orthopedic and neurological evaluations.
At this point in time, based on your history and examination findings, Dr. Hahn may perform an x-ray of the affected area.
This will complete your examination and your first visit to our office. Dr. Hahn will assess your file and determine if you are a candidate for care in the office. If not, you will be referred to the proper doctor who can best treat you condition. If you are a candidate for care, your treatment will begin the same day with a report of findings in the treatment room.
After being educated about your problem, the type of treatment utilized for your care will be discussed in detail. After understanding what to expect when you treatment is performed, your first adjustment will be administered at that time.
Following your first adjustment, Dr. Hahn will explain what to expect out of your first office visit. In addition, the adjustment may be followed by a modality treatment such as electrical muscle stimulation or ultrasound therapy.
This will complete your first office visit. You will be escorted to the front desk where your insurance coverage will be discussed. Depending on your policy, payment of your co-pay, co-insurance, and/or deductible are collected at this time. Before leaving the office, you will be scheduled for your second visit.
Please reserve approximately two hours to complete this process and remember to bring any insurance cards, picture identification, x-rays, CT scans, MRI's and reports from other doctors' offices and your diagnostic studies.
